 | 1.Size
When the quality of all aspects are the same,
the larger the diameter pearl, the higher
value. 2.Shape
Perfectly round shape is the best. Even off-round
shape, such as drop and button are also valuable. 3.Luster
Luster does not simply mean a shiny surface.
Pearls display rainbow-like colors that emanate
from deep within and have a sharp reflection
on the surface and regarded on high-quality. 4.Nacre
Nacre thickness is the most critical factor
in determining the value of the pearl. The
thicker the nacre, the deeper and the heavier
the luster. 5.Color
The major classifications are white, rose,
cream, blue and black. The clearer rainbow
color (interface color) appears over the
surface, the more precious and expensive
the pearl. 6.Blemish
Pearls with perfectly smooth surface are
very rare and command higher price. The value
of the pearl is assessed by size, deepness,
location and number of blemishes.
